On Saturday, May 19th, professors of the High School “Sveti Sava” from Požega organized a one-day tour of Višegrad for the students of the second year of social, natural sciences and mathematical and computer science, in order to better inform students with the character and work of the celebrated Serbian writer and Nobel Prize winner, Ivo Andrić.

After visiting the house where Andrić once lived and the famous Bridge on the Drina, an inevitable destination for 97 high school students and their professors, as a collection of everything that can be found in Andrić’s literature, was also Andrićgrad. A visit to the only city in a world dedicated to one writer was completed in the Andrić Institute.

On this occasion, high school students from Požega had the opportunity to see an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by academic painter Milivoje Unković named “The Path to Heaven” at the “Lubarda” Gallery.
