Matica srpska has proven in her linguistic field that it has understanding for linguistic and national, which is inseparable, and with her actions in this field became directly related to the grammar, but also one of the pillars of resistance to the Serbian national dissolution. What is important to say about this conference is that the grammar is not only an expert but also a cultural issue, and I emphasize that one of the functions of our today’s conference is a serious preparation for important and concrete changes in certain elements of the grammar.”
